I don't know what in the world was going on in my subconscious today......I had the worst dream ever. Proof that I'm overly paranoid, and more proof I need to quit my job.

I had a nightmare that I was pregnant. Like....big as a house pregnant. In my dream I looked in the mirror and I was enormous.

I was going to give my baby up for adoption, and take a few days off in the hospital and home to recover. Sounds logical, right?

In my dream, after I had my baby.....the phone by the hospital bed rings. It's my boss. "The work load has gone up and we're back on overtime. I'm sorry, but we're going to need you back TONIGHT."

And for whatever dumb reason, I got out of my hospital bed and went to work in my hospital gown!

Yeah.....I had a really hard time getting out of bed and stopping myself from touching my stomach and hyperventalating.

WHAT THE FRACK?!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When you start having nightmares about work, it's time for a vacation.

Luckily for me, I'll be taking your advice Evil Queen. I just had my third SC dream; damn you drive-thru and people perpetually changing their minds.

Then that is why I was dreaming about the EPA giving me fits about a little bit of sand blast dust being on a shelf in the shop last night.

I've always found it to be a sure bet to have nightmares soon after starting something new. One semester, I had started working at a sandwich shop while taking Calculus II. I dreamed about integrating Italian Meatball sandwiches.

Nowadays, almost every semester I dream about not having my handouts on the first day of class, or not having tests copied on test day. I'm used to it.

ETA: Just remembered a scary one (for me) where I was assigned to teach an English Comp class but another teacher came in and tried to insist it was her class until I finally chased her off. Why was it scary? I'm a MATH teacher!

I dreamt a Snoopy stuffed doll that I've had for years started crawling after me and screaming my name, each scream getting louder and more high-pitched.

I'm still worried that it will come to life in the night and smother me with a pillow, like that scene in Bride of Chucky.

EDIT: JESUS FUCKING SHITCAKES THE DOLL IS IN A CHAIR RIGHT BEHIND ME
