Now that I have DSL, I can actually watch online video clips, but I pretty consistently run into rather muffled sound. I have to turn the speakers up a good deal higher than normal to listen to these, then normal system sounds are WAY too loud. Online radio doesn't have that issue.
Any suggestions? System specs: P3 550mhz, 384mb RAM (I think. This doesn't seem to be a low-memory issue anyway), Win2000, Netscape 7.2 (I *hate* Explorer), can't find the specs for the sound card in Device Manager.
I'm planning to do some tweaking in Control Panel to see if I can do myself any good, and possibly try for an updated sound driver.
