I have my first day at work tomorrow (HA 4th this year) and im so nervous about it im making myself sick....
I know it will be fine.
I know I will love it.
I know I just need to calm down.
I wish my stomach would listen to what my ears are hearing....
forget butterflies in the tum, I have elephants
:D   :p thats how I feel excited out of my skin, and terrified at the same time. BLARGAL !

And I'm a mess. What should I wear for my first day, slacks or a skirt? Pink blouse or blue one? What shoes? Bring a lunch or buy lunch?
ARGGGGHHH!!! I feel your pain :)
First day was fine, I can already see the politics of the work place....
they have put me on a mega hour schedule (yay hours cos hours = money) and the best part is i get to help out with the art auction we hold once a year next week
*dances all around the place*
I finally have a job I love!
ps THANKS!!!! for all the support and love!

Its nice like that eh? hehe
I got a job as an electrician for a major university in town, a year ago, i love this job too. Even though the politics suck, I still love this job.
I just wish the guy i was working with was less annoying.
Im perfectly content working with him when he doesnt talk anymore then nessecary to convey the instructions.
yeah we have lots of little things to remember, its way more complex than I first thought, because we are non-profit so every CENT is accounted for
plus I have attendance to record, admissions, art class registration, store sales, gallery sweeps (for security) and I have to record the temperature of the gallery, as well as being a switchboard operator
its cool though, im never alone, theres always at least one other person to split the duties with and my boss seems cool. She keeps telling me to slow down, that this isnt retail and I dont have to go as fast as I can, I can take my time....
now thats a shock to the system!
