It's no longer a favorite past time for just your pooch.

If you're sick of Sheriff stories, stop here. Cuz yes, unfortunately, it is.

That idiot never ceases to amaze me.

In the "sucky neighbor" thread, I wrote a few days ago about how Wednesday night, he ran outside and up the sidewalk in his UNDERWEAR, phone in one hand, the other arm flaring like a madman, and seconds later a police car drove by.

We never discovered what "emergency" (meaning who parked wrong or who was doing something "illegal") went down the other night. But anyone who was outside got a good chuckle, a good use of their gag reflex, and an even stronger hatred of the idiot.

Just a while ago, I was outside and saw a girl and guy in a little Cavalier pull up by the side of the street. They parked a little weird, but the girl was on her cell phone and kept turning her head around as if she were lost. Probably a safe bet, as this street is nothing but apartments and is really hard to figure out who is where.

Now, they had pulled in sort of in the way of the entrance to the parking lot, but were only there for a matter of seconds. A minute at most. The girl all of a sudden put her phone down, backed up and pulled away, so it's safe to assume she figured out where she was and was leaving, right? Absolutely no harm done, right?

As she pulls away, a door flings open, and Sheriff armed with his ancient cordless phone to his ear, and trusty cowboy boots goes RUNNING down the sidewalk, chasing after the car, most likely to get the plate number. I kid you not, he came barreling out of his apartment and went running at full force after her. You could hear his cowboy boots going CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK as he ran to the end of the street. I couldn't see where the car had went, but whichever direction she took, he followed, still running. Now obviously there's no way he could keep up with her car once she got going.

Oh my word......what a new low, if there is such a thing for that freak. Chasing cars in an attempt to report her for parking improperly.

If anyone wanted any proof that he does spy on everyone through the window or some other means, there you have it. I'm not crazy. She wasn't even parked for more than a minute and he was on her tail.

Too bad you can't fit him for a shock collar with an invisible forcefield around his apartment.

Blas, you need to write a book. Call it "The Sheriff Chronicles'. Then move somewhere tropical and enjoy your riches.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with him...he wastes the police's time and drives everyone nuts.

If I had it my way, he'd get a shock collar and I'd turn it on every time he was home and I was outside so he couldn't come out and bug me. And I'd turn it on every time my bf came over as well, so he couldn't call the cops on him. He already did once (we were taking a nap on a Friday afternoon, had no idea what was going on, obviously the cops didn't do anything so that's why we never knew) and I found out a few days later and it took everything I had to not throw a flaming bag of pooh at his door.

Blas,

You need a vay-cay-shun. Come to Illinois. It is nice and quiet out by me (aside from the occasional train horn and farm equipment, that is), and best of all, NO Sheriffs that I've ever seen.

Also, I have kitties, beer (I don't drink it, but we always keep a bit around in case my brother - who does - stops by) and...uhhh...corn. Not the most scintillating of entertainments, but it'll do ya in a pinch. XD

Oh do I ever need a vaycay.......I tell ya what, taking a random Thursday night off every couple of months just doesn't do the trick anymore.

I need to get the Hell away from this funny farm of a neighborhood.

What is wrong with this idiot?

My first guess would be-- a lot.

Can I send Numbnuts over by you?

Nothing personal, I just want to see him and Sheriff have an epic Dumb-Off.

I think if you moved Numbnuts in around here, he'd do just like everyone else and would hide every time Sheriff came outside.

Although a dumb off would be quite entertaining to watch.
