I know that nearly everyone who finishes their post-secondary school without a job lined up feels like this, but blah...

I got my Arts and Design certificate with my "major" being photography two weeks ago, and now... What? What do I do? Do I get a job in photography? And, if I do, which faction of it? Do I apply at a studio, at a retailer, a developer... *takes out the paper bag* ... Whoo... And if I don't go into photography, what do I do? Y'know?

All right.

Sit down with a pencil and some paper and write out all the questions you just asked in your previous thread.

Now write down the pros and cons of each one, along with how difficult you think it would be to do each one of them, as well as anything else that might be pertinent, including how interested you are in each of the possibilities.

Keep this paper in your wallet and spend a couple of weeks, if need be, thinking about it and refining it.


This should help you clarify your thoughts and get you started in a certain direction.

See if you can go back and talk to some of your teachers. Every field is different, and these are questions that can best be answered by someone in that particular field.
