OK, this really made my night. I was listening to coast to coast am at work (greatest radio show EVER... there are only 2 types of people, those who love coast to coast and those who have never heard it). Anyway, there was a guest on who mentioned that he had once picked up howard hughs in the desert and dropped him off at a D.I. I actually had to listen to him, and he confirmed it a second time. I love the D.I. it's the best store on the planet, and this guy is claiming that he took Howard Hughes there one day... that my friends is coolness beyond belief.

Deseret Industries... they are a thrift store, rare collectors item store, and handmade furniture store... all in one... and they don't have the shitty cheap shit you find in most thrift stores... they have high quality stuff.

I probably have... probably in a sightings thread... it's a great store, but some of it's locations attract people who are the wrong kind of special.
