("Wherein" snitched from Gravekeeper. Don't worry, I'll give it back)

I can never remember the protocall for Bad Dreams, be it only told after breakfast or before, so instead I'm doing it during.

I had a Bad Dream.

It involved my job.

So I'm closing up the Store, doing everything i'm supposed to be doing, and I finally get out of it. I'm walking along with my 2nd Assistant Manager, D, when I notice MY CAR IS GONE.

Oh, wait, it's over there instead. I didn't park it over there. Why is there a strange woman in my car?!

Run after Strange Lady In My Car when I drop my cell phone. Again. And the screen goes black and phone body snaps apart. Dammit. Squeezes it back shut so I can deliver the bloody money to the bank and get the hell home where my tools are.

It flips to me being in the car (how I got in there, I have no frikken clue) and I go to turn the key in the ignition.

It doesn't start. Turn again. Still no starting. Do it AGAIN. Start to feel like something is BAD Wrong.

Pull key out of ignition to find that someone had filed it down to half an inch long.

Double Ewe-Tea-Eff?

Finally it starts. Hoo-RAY! As I'm driving out of the parking lot, I flip my phone open so I can memory-push the scroll button to call my Mom and Dad when I hear Evil Queen's voice asking me in a dreadfully cheery voice how my day had gone.

Teary eyed as I was having problems with my key, my phone screen was broke again, and I was late getting to the bank, I told her all that had happened and to have her call Mom and Dad for me and that I would be back home soon.

Que to me pulling up a super long driveway on a very steep grade leading up to a double-wide trailor and my Dad's truck, which now has FL plates.

Guh? We don't have a double-wide, let alone FL plates.

Get a call from Mom and she says she's not home (duh) and to get the key fixed PRONTO.

I wake up dreading the hour because it's 5:57 in the damned morning.

Grab a book and start reading until I get tired and kill the lights.

Poor baby.

*hugs and feeds cookies too*

I hate bad dreams when they involve work; this is a sign you need a day off. Pamper yourself and the car.
