There is this guy that I went to grade school and high school with, he bought a house around the corner from us so we see them (him, his wife and their incredibly bossy and aggressive daughter). I make small talk with him here and there, but I gently discourage my daughter from playing with his daughter and I'm always vague about everything.
Anyway, he started talking about our high school reunion. First of all, it's not until 2008. Seriously, I have no idea if my schedule is booked. Really. Honest.
He apparently came up with this "brilliant" (if brilliant is the same as retarded) idea to have the reunion the same weekend as Thanksgiving.
His reasoning is that people will be coming back to town anyway.
Yes, they will, but- and I can't emphasize this enough- they'll be BUSY. We're always running around like morons trying to see every relative so no one feels shorted on every holiday and now he wants to throw a high school reunion into the mix?
Sorry Jeff, that your dance card isn't full, but the rest of us will most likely be otherwise occupied.:wave:
