I change my avatar, it shows up in User CP...

There's two picture spots. A personal picture that shows up on the personal profile, and the avatar. Try changing the other one. It might just be pulling up from the wrong picture, or maybe I'm thinking of them mixed up myself. *shrug* Either way, try changing whichever one you didn't.
