So I am just chilling in Federal Hill, doing a Bar Crawl through a group I know from school. The bit is that once a month, we hit a different area of the city, wearing crazy hats and getting drink deals all night long. The point of all this is that I was wearing my old sailor hat from the navy (imagine the hats on the crackerjack box).
Naturally wherever we went, people were asking about the hats. I have never understood why certain people, when the meet someone in a bar that was, or currently in the military, feel the need to try and bullshit that person. I've never heard of someone trying to impress a doctor by lying about being a pediatrician. It is bizarre the things people have tried to tell me and at what lengths they will go to try and convince me. I literally had a guy following us for two bars trying to convince me he was an ex-marine. I finally had to ask the last bar's security to get this weirdo away from me. Why do people do that? What the f--- is the point? Do they honestly think we are morons?

Uhm.....nope, I got nothing. I'm still trying to figure out why people dress their twins the same.

My cousin did that and her girls aren't even twins (they're a year apart). Though to be fair, I think she really only did it for special occasions, like dressing up for Christmas and such.

Still a nightmarish thing to to the kids. Bad enough in our family (aside from Mom and Dad) EQ and I are known as THE Twins. According to our family we're a single entity. How aggravating.

One day when I was at home, I was looking through a lot of old baby pictures of Big Sis and me. Completely over the fact that there were 3 times as many made of her, I was just looking through - until I realized that on a couple of occasions we were wearing the exact. same. outfit. 5 years later, I was wearing the same stuff she did. A true testament to 1) how dirt poor we were and 2) how well Mom takes care of the laundry! :D Not that I minded hand-me-downs, but jeez, not even for the pictures!

My sister and i are seven years apart and i know one year my mother put us in identical dresses for Easter Sunday. She also put us in identical outfits for one of our yearly trips to Hersheypark. Both pictures are still in my mom's photo albums.

So if you lose one you can go up to someone and ask, "Have you seen another one of these running around?"

And you've never invited ME???!

Even though I no longer drink; but it's the principle. :p

In response to your question: Maybe drunk people just get really uppity, self-righteous, and just plain stupid? Especially in public settings.

RW and EQ, I feel your pain.

I'm sure Bella does, too, but you'd have to ask her.

Without a doubt.
