Guess who was just cast as the Virgin Mary in the Christmas musical?

Well, technically, I guess I have to point out I was cast as "Mary" and not "The Virgin Mary", which I guess is supposed to be a burn from one of my best friends, aka The Director and Boss of Me and All Things Regarding The Show in Question. I call her Shelly most of the time, and sometimes "Ho-bag" for short.

But I digress. :roll:

I'm just glad to be back in the musical scene for a while... it's been at least six years since I opened my mouth, and now I can say I'll have been in 2 shows by the end of the year. I have to admit, it feels really nice to be back at it. I'm especially glad to have reconnected with some of my old friends again!

If/when we make it into the studio to record promo MP3 tracks to post on MySpace, I'll share them if they don't embarrass me too much. In the meanwhile, wish me luck! :runaway: :D

TheGiraffe- I sang all the way up until my first year of college, when I realized that I didn't want to be a vocal major anymore and changed majors. I took a six year hiatus before reconnecting with one of my best friends from high school, and now she's dragging me back into the fold. We're just having fun right now, I don't want to be famous or anything.

We're talking about doing You're A Good Man Charlie Brown! in the spring. Since the cast is *really* small and the competition for Lucy will be fierce, I'm thinking about going out for Snoopy instead. Either that, or Linus, because right now it looks like we may have an all girl cast. :roll:
