Do you mean it's been a whole YARRRR! since last Talk Like a Pirate Day?


Apparently there were lots of piratical goings-on at the school at the end of my street. When school finished we saw lots of kids walking around with balloon swords ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5ECkPBFMPc ) and a few with cardboard eyepatches.

TLaPD absolutely rocked this year.

My team at the call center's name is Pirates and our section is all decorated with black netting and sea creatures. Yesterday, when my supervisor went away for a meeting I got her chair and had another team mate hold it while I hung up a our jolly roger.

The Jolly Roger is painted on black cheese-cloth and we hung it in front of the AC so it billows in the breeze. When she came back up we all got in Cap'n Morgan pose and grunted. She laughed so hard, it was awesome.
