Doctor Search

Ok.

I've just now moved to a new place, and I DONT know how to search / research doctors.

I need to research GP and neuros for Washington....I know how to ask about Neruos, on a specific forum..

But who/what all would I look for, and at, to research regular doctors?

Your area might have a health information line similar to the one my area has. I learned the number for it by going to a walk-in clinic. Those would probably be easier to find. Just pop in to one of those, ask if they have any information regarding finding a primary care physician. Either they'll give you the phone number for the regional info, or they'll know a way.

Conversely, you can get in touch with the local College of Physicians and Surgeons. It's not an actual school, it's the doctor's association and usually a regulatory body. They'll have listing of doctor's offices in your area, and should know who is taking new patients.
