Whoo hoo I have a job again!!!

I was fired about 2 weeks ago. My boss came in on a Monday(of all days), at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and said she was letting me go because she had a friend who had more experience(invoicing and a/r, a/p, payroll-not hard at all I mean c'mon!!) and get this- I quote "really needed this job".

And the real kicker is that I was fired 2 days before I would have gotten my week paid vacation:mad:

So I have been pounding the pavement hunting for one and I start Monday!!!I'm so happy I could cry :lol:

Are you saying that free rum & cookies, a lifetime's supply of pineapples and weekly office keggers aren't a good compensation package?

Dont you get your weeks holiday pay even though you were let go?
In the UK, if its been built up, you get the money as pay if you dont take it as holiday.

Wow I am gonna be working 6 days this week!!! YAY!! :lol: No I am not crazy lol I promise ;) I need the money so it doesnt bother me to work an extra day, but everything is good and Ireally like it for now :lol: Just wait until later and i will be complaining about sucky employees since i have nothing to do with our actual customers:D
