For a good while I've been going without power because of this bullshit (http://www.customerssuck.com/board/showthread.php?t=37148). Not only that, but when I tried to run my computer from the generator, I find out that the motherboard has gone bad and it'll cost me about $350 or so to replace it since I need it to be compatible with the rest of my computer parts (it's custom built and a little over 2 years old with Windows XP). We got an estimate from a well known electric company in the area and was told it would be about $2,200 total to fix our issue (for parts and labor).:cry: I don't know how much more of this I can take (I'm at the library typing this as of now).:cry:

Go to Sagernotebooks.com (or was it .net?) and buy you a laptop you can haul around and ding and most importantly play WoW on for around 950$ (configure the thing yourself and you can get some nice options).

My $600 CDN eeePC 901 plays WoW fine. Hell I think they're down to like $400 now. My coworker just plays WoW at work all night on his. He got one after he saw mine ;p

It'll do whatever you want it too and it has a video out port so you can honestly just sub it right in to your current monitor and keyboard/mouse.

Plus, battery power. ><

Of course, no point if you can fix your own computer for less.

Speaking of which, a $350 mobo for a 2 year old computer? Wha? I've never spent more than $100 on a mobo and mine's not quite a year old. I've never even seen a mobo over $250. What exactly did you build? Water cooling? -.-

I've heard that the triple-e machines were supposed to be really good. However, as that information was passed to me from a guy that used to treat me like shit and now treats me as indifferent, I'm not taking any computer advice from him whatsoever.

There's that nasty thing called Pride again.

My Sager laptop had lasted me for over five years, and would have lasted even longer had I not dumped tea on it.

You also have to remember that the $400 eeepcs have small screens. Tiny screens.

I need an ASRock motherboard..the motherboard itself is cheap, but not the chips on it, which is why it would cost me so damn much to replace it.
