Some bit of background music from the Inspector Gadget cartoon (not the theme song). I have no idea why. The muse responsible is going to get a beating if I ever find him/her/it. This seems to be a subliminal plea for a cross-universe fanfic (oh dear)...
Yeah, my muses can be mildly sadistic when they want to
Currently playing Peter Gabriel to try to exorcise it...knowing my luck I'll just get both stuck at once (aie).

Ok, so I'm going to be laughed at for this, but...oh well.
All'Improvviso Amore by Josh Groban. I listen to him when I'm studying, and this one has implanted its little self in my head. It's fine though, because it's a real up-beat song with a little bit of a rock beat going. I must say that I love it :)

"Sister Christian" by Night Ranger.
I also downloaded this creepy 70s song called "timothy". It's creepy because in it the singer says...ummm....errrr...uhhh...how do I put this delecately....uhhhh....aww hell with it. The singer says he ate the subject of the song.

This song is mentioned in Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs (a fun read, but likely to induce earworms). The song, IIRC, is about a mine cave-in, with three miners trapped, and Timothy was the unlucky one to be invited for dinner. I've never heard it, don't particularly want to, but Barry did a funny write-up for it.
My earworm right now is the Bob The Builder theme song. My son loves that show, and I suffer the consequences. Still, at least it's not Barney... :puke:

Well, now thanks to that thread over in Morons In Management I've got Dr. Hook's Rolling Stone song stuck in my head.
Yesterday, however, I had the new game Mortal Kombat: Armageddon staring at me my entire shift so I had the Mortal Kombat theme from the movie stuck in my head.

Since we've opened, I've been listening to this "Flashback New Wave" station that our music player has. It's basically filled with what would be alternative for the 80s (Adam Ant, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, etc) and so I had gotten Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party stuck in my head, but the music thingee never played it. It finally got out of my head and then...bam...the music player plays the danged song >.<. Oh well, it's a dead man's party...who could ask for more?

I have Iris by the Googoo Dolls trapped in my head. It won't go away...
We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong
Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing
Love is a battlefield
You're beggin me to go, you're makin me stay
Why do you hurt me so bad?
It would help me to know
Do I stand in your way, or am I the best thing you've had?
Believe me, believe me, I can't tell you why
But I'm trapped by your love, and I'm chained to your side
We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong
Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing
Love is a battlefield
We're losing control
Will you turn me away or touch me deep inside?
And before this gets old, will it still feel the same?
Theres no way this will die
But if we get much closer, I could lose control
And if your heart surrenders, you'll need me to hold
We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong
Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing
Love is a battlefield
We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong
Searchin our hearts for so long, both of us knowing
Love is a battlefield

On another board someone mentioned Wonderfalls (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361256/) as a very cool TV show that ended before it's time...it lasted less than a whole season
So I Bittorrented the whole bunch of the shows they did make and I watched them and now I have the theme song for Wonderfalls going through my head at all times of the day lately
BTW The show really was a great one and it's a pity they cancelled it so soon

Fortunately I was listening to Last Dance with Mary Jane... so I've got that stuck in my head instead.

I had quite a few songs stuck in my head throughout the day:
This morning: Beck - Nausea
Mid-morning: Soundgarden - Uncovered
Afternoon: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Readymade
On my way to work: Sonic Youth - Pipeline/Kill Time
On way home from work: Air - Wonder Milky Bitch
Current Song stuck in my head and won't go away: Air - New Star in the Sky (Chanson Pour Solal)
The last two songs I don't mind having in my head because Air is very relaxed music. I'd recommend them if you like atmospheric music, gets stuck in your head easily.

I have about a million songs swimming through my head all the time, but the most prominent ones right now are probably
"Too Much of Nothing" by Bob Dylan
"Workingman's Blues #2" also by Bob Dylan
Mostly just cuz I listened to them like an hour ago ;)

For about a week now, I've had Bruce Springsteen's "Walking in Memphis" stuck in my brain. And listening to it didn't help either...

These are just a small list of what's stuck in my head at the moment:
Hillbillies (Hot Apple Pie)
Lips Of An Angel (Hinder)
Far Away (Nickleback)
One (MetallicA)
The second song on Nickelback's CD. The song names aren't listed on the CD so I don't know what it is called.

That song is by Marc Cohn (sp?), not The Boss.
Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. I'm creeping over to the emo side of things. I used to dip into the gothemo genre, but now I'm into the full-fledged emo "scene" music. I blame the pregnancy.

I heard Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry this morning while driving to school. So that got in my head. Falls Apart by Hurt is there right now. Before that, it was Get Stoned by Hinder. Oh yeah, and Breathe Today by Flyleaf is constantly in my head (I always listen to that CD)

I was waiting for Metal Mania on VH1 classic the other night and had to sit thru Cameo's "word Up" and the next night I was shopping with my g/f in a Ross store and,lo and behold, there it is again on the store tape.....*sigh* I thought I escaped that song in 1988.
I'm sorry I brought it up as it might be catching. The symptoms include the involintary "singing" along and the movement of the butt if your not thinking about it....*Makes it really hard to shoot pool*

Oh man that song was stuck in my head for two straight months. Finally downloaded it as a ringtone, and it went away. Amazing how those things work.
Right now, I'm humming "Undone (The Sweater Song)" by Weezer. Man it takes me back.
