attachments on PMs [Archive]

OK, so this may be stupid, but is it possible to add an attachment to a PM?

I've looked everywhere on the send new message screen and I can't find it.

If it's not possible now is it something that could be added?

Just been through the admin options and can't see the ability to turn it on, so I guess the software just doesn't allow it.
