Ok you know my dog is a nice old lady who while healthy is.... stuburn.
Now we figure out when we got her she had a deminish sense of smell.
Why?
Well i cat could be right on top of of her, almost litterly, and she wouldnt know until it swiped
That and slight cursting/thick/dryed skin on her nose.
She smelles better ive noticed when she licks her nose.
Its cute actually, like a lizzard...
anyways lately shes been a brat and been ignoring her food.
I thought it was pain induces from her joints but i realised yesterday....
SHE DIDNT KNOW WHERE IT WAS.
she couldnt smell the food well enough to go to it.
Now it i brought her to her food or held up some for her to see she would go hog wild on it.
If i got one of her pouches and just put into the bowl she didnt know where it was.
That and i learned she doesnt lke beef....
Now i remember once learning that if a dog has problems smelling and wont eat their food you should cook/heat their food and add fragrant items to it like a little garlic, some chicken stock, ect. ect.
Now my mom says i shouldnt do that cause that would be spoiling her....
so from the dog lovers/experts out there.
Should I heat up my dogs food, or not.
