So, there's this thing I do. I make cosmetics and all natural bath products (sugar and salt scrubs, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, ect) in my kitchen. I use them, my Hubby and kids use them, my sister and sister-in-laws and both my mother and mother in law use them as well. It's easy and cheap and everyone seems to like them.
So, I've found this website (http://etsy.com) that makes it very easy to list and sell homemade products.
So my question to you is -- would you be interested in purchasing such products? I'm thinking I could probably sell them pretty cheap and I was thinking I could customize them -- you know, have a list of all the "flavors" (scents) I have and, when someone ordered, they would specify what scents they wanted. So, basically, you could create your own scents and get all natural, homemade bath products without having to make them yourself.
I've been kind of looking around online at what I would be looking at to buy packaging materials wholesale or in bulk and I'm going to check our Sams Club when I get home to see if I can get most of the ingredients in bulk (I can't think it would be hard, it's pretty general stuff). I'm just trying to figure out if there's a market for it and if it's worth trying, or if there's something I'm missing or even if anyone has any ideas of how to make it better, you know?
Any thoughts?
(And thanks in advance for any ideas / thoughts / suggestions!)
