And some people think dogs don't have emotions?
I'm out walking Kiri (our German shepherd) and sometimes when I go to walk back in she doesn't want to go in. Sometimes because she still needs to go to the bathroom and other times she wants to stay out.
To tell me she wants/ needs to stay outside she'll plant her front paws on the ground, lower her head and look at me.
At this time I'll tell her to hurry up and she'll sniff around some more. If she doesn't go within a few minutes I start to take her back into the house and the repeats.
I turn around and tell her to hurry up or go in the house. She just looks at me and I stare back at her.
Then, a huge smile breaks out on her face.
Yep, when being naughty, she can't hold a straight face. :)
