Don't you hate when people order from you and then they don't like the offers and they wasted you're time by saying, "Oh, will go somewhere else."

Well, I did this to an lady......

Lady-We'll go to *another pizza place or fast food area* in town!

Pizza Hut in Hawaii is like 5 dollars(6 for Outer Islands) over the mainland price.
And people argue with us about it, it's like there's nothing I can do!

That is exactly why they do it. This one woman tried that with us. We stood our ground and she is still renting here. Plus she already had a great offer. If they already had an deal, then they do not get another.

These doofuses don't understand that the markup is to cover the cost transporting all of that stuff over from the mainland. If they wanted cheap eats, they should have hit up the local Costco and dined on their pizza.

I haven't heard of a Costco on the island. It might exist, but I doubt it. Oahu is *just now* getting a Target. As in it is being built right now.
There is a Little Ceasars in the Kmart in Honolulu though.

i ended up ordering from a mom-n-pop place that was only 10 bucks. i forgot who they were but they had good pizza... use to get chicken, tomato slices, and leaves of spinach on my pizza. guys would see me eat it and call it a salad. but i loved it :)


i don't remember if there is a costco in hawaii. but yeah grocery store pizza is always cheapest (or homemade of course) :D
and they ahve walmart there now too

There's one in Maui. Unless things have changed, the prices there are supposed to be much closer to mainland prices.

But back on topic: It would do the tourists (and the people who have to put up with them) a lot of good if said tourists would do their damned research before going on vacation.

There's at least 3 Costcos on Oahu alone (Hawaii Kai, Iwilei and somewhere out in Pearl City or Salt Lake). We used to go there on Sunday afternoons after church when I was a kid to get all the free samples. Free lunch for me! :)

'bout time they got a Target too. I didn't realize there wasn't one till I heard about the new one opening.

Of course, my family was always a little snobbish about pizza - we shelled out for the fancy Boston's stuff. Still my favorite pizza place ever.

Personally, I just buy a cheap pizza at the local supermarket, not the cheapest ones at $4.99 or less as those are just cardboard, nor the ones for $9.99 or more as those tend to be rip-offs for what few toppings they put on them.

Just your average $6.99 to $8.49 frozen pizza that looks good from the list of toppings on the pack. Add one assorted meat kit for $3.49 (Ham, Salami, Pepperoni), some onion, green and red peppers from the fridge, pop it into the oven for 25 minutes and for about $15 I have a pizza to beat anything locally available for less than $25-30.

Please note, the pizza is not proper garnished if you can see any of the original cheese topping. My pizza is a meal into itself.


Oops, I just realized I did some work for my ideal pizza, SCs can't do work for their food, they want it delivered to them on a silver platter for free!
