I just looked at the weather, and it's supposed to only get to 72 on Tuesday, and then down into the low low 40s that night! I get to wear my winter clothes!!!! *happy dance*

Boo Hoo...72 is cold? Try visiting upstate New York...it hasn't broken 50 since Oct 1.

Give it a few weeks and we will be in the 20s while you're still in the 70's.

Think we can arrange some sort of time share where you get our weather for a week and we get yours? That would be most excellent! :p

Hahaha! I live in FL for a reason lol. Jan 1, 2006 (i.e. New Years' Day), we went to Wekiva Springs and went canoeing and hung out in SWIMSUITS and had a nice picnic lunch. It was a balmy 75 degrees (farenheit). Now, it was "cold" on Xmas eve....like 55 in the evening. I was outside in a ballgown and sick...that was fun.

Steverino, our weather down here is incredibly unpredictable. You'll be in shorts and a tank top one day, and jeans and a sweatshirt (and MAYBE sneakers) the next. Two days later, it'll be shorts and a tank top again. Gotta love FL!

I'm thoroughly thrilled about the cold weather though...I have an adorable new long-sleeve shirt I want to wear. I only have 3 long-sleeve shirts, and 2 long-sleeve blouses. I love it!

Well, at the Frozen Tundra this week, high temperatures are expected to be around 45 each day.

It was mixed rain and snow when I left work this morning.

Wish I could send some of you some of my weather. It's going to be over 80 for highs here until about Tuesday. It's late October, shouldn't it be cooling down yet?

thegiraffe

What's your humidity like, Seanette? High 80s is quite pleasant when there's low humidity, but horrendous when there's high humidity (which is what we have in FL most of the year...like 11 months haha)

As of the time I'm typing this, it's 76 degrees with 32% humidity.

I grew up on the Oregon coast. I don't handle heat well at ANY humidity, and I'm missing out on fall, what with the current weather conditions better matching parts of summer. (sniffle)

Ahh...32% humidity is nothing haha. We're routinely in the high 80% range, and June/July tend to hover about 95% in the afternoons. We LIVE for 32% humidity days lol.

And yeah, missing out on fall does suck. We have no leaf change-age here. That's kinda lame, but where else can you go swimming in December?

Here in TExas, the weather has been unbearable. IN the morning, it is like 40-50 degrees, so you dress up for it (jacket, long pants, etc). By the time I get out of work/school a few hours later, its already in the 70's and I'm sweating!

Worse, I use the heater in my car in the morning, and A/C in the afternoon. My car must think I'm some f*ck up who cant make up his mind. (if cars sould think.....)

Pardon me while I snort at your 'cold front.' You see, I am here where it is actually cold... 33 degrees to be exact. Frigid!

It was in the mid-50s (F) all weekend. As usual, I drove around with the windows down. I think of that as my "middle finger salute" to the colder weather :D

...of course as I'm typing this, it's much less than that, probably about 45 F outside... Apparently, the weather gave *me* the finger back

As I sit here and look out my front window at the snow falling...

I really don't like some of you right now! :p

Right now, it is 43 degrees F, and tonight it is supposed to be 32. I still haven't had to turn on the heat. This little house stays toasty all the time. I will eventually have to turn it on, but hopefully not for awhile. Out weather is very unpredictable here also. That is why everyone is always sick.

A balmy 43 degrees here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, with a windchill of 34, expected low of 29 tonight, and to top it off, it snowed north and west of here last night.

I'm still very afraid that this winter will be warmer than normal, which is what they're predicting. I still haven't gotten over last year's wimpy winter. It only snowed a handful of times, and the one time it looked like we'd get a few inches, it warmed up before morning and the whole mess melted! The only real winter weather we got was the ice storm from hell, in December.

Yep, sounds like NC right now too.

High today was only around 54 F, tonight's low is expected to be around 32.

Right now, my Weatherbug says it's 40 outiside. . .I'll have to drag out the thermals and my trenchcoat tomorrow.:runaway:

It's 930 in the morning, and it's about 50 farenheit outside...I can see my breath!!

last time I was in weather this cold, we were in Colorado in March....though it was quite a bit colder...haha.

Ugggg...I had to actually scrape the frost off my windows this morning. :(

Here it comes, that fun time of year here in Wisconsin.

Well..I'm close to NightWolf..lol. I'm in Minnesota, and it's 31 degres F here...80% or so humidity as well...of course, that's just for today. It's going to get colder.

Wow. We're lucky if we get to see those temps for more than 12 hours each year haha.

Oh, and 45 farenheit is too cold for flip flops. My feet and shins were frozen when I got back from class this morning. I'm wearing socks and shoes to my next class lol.

It was about 44F out Saturday and while I was out food shopping I saw some girl walking around in a short sleeved shirt, a ratty jean mini skirt that barely covered her butt cheeks and sandals. Does she want to get pneumonia?

Oh, but didn't your mom ever teach you that beauty comes from pain? Lol...yeah, she's pretty stupid.

It's funny - I'm in college down here, and you can always tell who the out-of-state students are on the first cold day of the season (i.e. today). The Floridians are all bundled up and whining profusely, and the out-of-state kids are all in T-shirts and jeans, wondering what all the fuss is about haha.

Occasionally, I will see girls out in flip flops when it's well below freezing and there's snow on the ground.

Whisky tango foxtrot? That's a good way to get frostbite. My flip flops are in the closet to stay until spring.

Nah, it's all relative.

I hate shoes, so I will wear flip flops until it snows and then as soon as it is done for the winter they come out again. If we get a warmer day in between I will wear them then, too.
