When I had my interview today, they told me that they planned to make the decision on which applicants to hire and make the offers by the end of the day. They made sure that they would be able to reach me at my home number, so I came home sure that they would offer me the job. 5 o'clock came and went and I had not heard anything. So I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself when a friend called to see how the interview went. She even reassured me that they would probable still call, even if it wasn't until tomorrow. As soon as I hung up from her, the phone rang while it was still in my hand. They formally offered me the position and I will start training on Monday. After over a year of unemployment, it sure feels good to have a job again.:D
