Okay, so last night I was at work and we were listening to the local classic rock station. During one of the commercial breaks I heard this doozy: (paraphrased, since I don't remember the exact wording)

"Kelsey's! Get your meal in 15 minutes or it's free!"

 I've been to this restaurant many times over the years. It is a nice and classy sit down restaurant with a bar and grill. Most food there, like the steaks, actually take time to cook! Their new idea is a giant SC story in the making. So glad I don't live near any and/or dine there anymore. I'd hate to see some poor server getting screamed at for a customers meal taking 17 minutes and then having them demand it be free. Kelsey's must be getting the short end of the stick for customers lately, and this new marketing scheme is probably going to put them under. :(

Anyone else ever heard of or work at a restaurant that offered something like this?

This offer is for their express LUNCH menu only. That's things like sandwiches, soup, and small meals. I've heard of several resturants in the area doing similar things. It's not gonna be a big deal, because of how restricted it is.

Oh well that's good. I guess I didn't hear the entire commercial. Damn my attention span.

I bet a fair number of people only heard the "15 minutes or it's free" part. I would not want to be a Kelsey's employee right now.....
