A toast to the efficencies of Canada Post! It took them only four days to take a Christmas card halfway across the city. Some of the more far-flung members will be getting my cards just in time for next Christmas. :roll:

My imagination has sadly out weighed my ambition, unfortunately, and I can't seem to get them done, but I am going to try and get some self-discipline, since I checked with Canada Post and the deadline for international cards, using Air Mail, is December 5.

I have recently switched over to a different Broadband (better than the last one I had...or so I thought!) and have had problems! I have had internet on and off for about a month and in the past two weeks, have not had it at all...due to the new company being crap! Because of this, I have not been able to get the Mailing List and was soooooo upset....thing is, I never thought that the cut off date would be as early as Oct...but when I wanted to look...I couldn't.

Anyway, I got the list and I am sending cards out pronto! If anyone wishes to send me a card (I know...it is late), PM me and I will happily give you my address!

Thanks! When I was shopping for cards I saw a box with the funniest looking, bug-eyed cat. I picked up the box and looked on the back and saw the 6 most strange looking animals in Christmas theme. I think there's the dog that you got, a squirrel, cats, and birds. I wish I had kept the box because I kinda liked looking at those little critters. But, yeah, that dog card with the teeth is the FREAKIEST of the bunch. I hope everyone liked them. I think they sorta reflect my strange sense of humor.

Just wanted to let everyone know mine went out today! I apologize for being so late this year, but we had a minor death in the family last week, and it hit the b/f pretty hard, it was his birthday. Got them all finished during Survivor last night and they should be arriving shortly.

I took all my cards and other decorations down yesterday, but I took a picture before I did. Thought everyone might like to see what my wall looked like with all the cards. Not all of these are from CS members, some of them are from family and non-internet friends. One of them is also from former member Fyrehardt, who I've been trying to get to come back on here. Unfortunately, with four kids, she's quite busy, and it may be awhile before she finds time for CS again.
