i like live oak (local microbrew) pilsner, all of the lindemann's fruit lambics (framboise is my favorite), the whole shiner line (though the kolsch is my favorite), celis white, hoegaarden, and bohannon creme ale. i don't drink that often, but when i do it's usually one of those.

I love Sunshine Wheat made by the New Belgium Brewery which is located right here in Colorado! I support the home team :) They also make a beer for every season and only sell it during that season. I only remember the summer season one which is SkinnyDip :p

When I do drink a beer, I prefer Yuengling Black and Tan. Good, robust flavor unlike that watered down mess that is passed off as beer.

Actually, it's more of a lager beverage and probably wouldn't be technically called beer. But it's still good stuff.

Most of the time, it's a glass of wine (Franzia Chardonnay is currently in the fridge. $14.49 for a 5 ltr box, can't beat it.)

Like Dgoddess, I'm a white wine or gin-and-tonic girl, rather than beer. However, I did come across a really nice brew this summer. Its a Kiwi beer, called Young's Summer Beer, and its brewed with honey. Absolutely delicious and very refreshing chilled right down on a hot summer's day.

i don't really drink, even when i wasn't pregnant. but the only beer i really like is corona with lime and salt....

Guinness.

OK, I know, but it's almost the only stuff I'll drink, along with Bailey's, Jameson's (shots!! yum!) and Rumplminz. But I am NOT a heavy drinker: 1 shot or 1 Irish car bomb, and I'm done for the night.

I'm a little fussy about liquor, but not about beer... I drink way too much of it, but I've never really liked it. I generally have to endure the first two. After that, it's still not that great, but I don't care anymore.

I don't like beer. Period.

I am, however, quite fond of smirnoff, bacardi, the parrot bay malt thingies, screwdrivers, bailey's, margaritas...etc. I do NOT like straight vodka though. I discovered that on Halloween (a small sip is all it took). It tastes gross and makes me cough.

Not a huge beer fan, but my general belief is, as long as I'm not paying for it, gimme anything. If I'm paying for it, I'll get something hard. mmmm. tequilia! Also, for some reason, I really like Long Island Ice Tea. Go figure.

I am strictly a Mich Ultra fan, if on the rare occasion that they are out then I get Alaskan Amber. For hard A it Jager, Jose Cuervo, or Apple Pucker I could never drink wine though it makes me sick.

For beer I prefer: Mickey's (even bought the shirt), Newcastle, Dos Equis, Guinness, Budweiser, and Heineken

For liquor I prefer: Jagermeister, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Seagram's 7, Crown Royal, Patrone, and root beer shnapps

Oh, word to the interested: try mixing Smirnoff vanilla-flavored vodka with Sunkist orange soda. It tastes just like a 50-50 bar

1. MGD either in a bottle or off tap. For some reason, just not as good in a can. For those who don't know what MGD is, it's Miller Genuine Draft.
2. Coronas. Expensive but good.
3. Magic Hat: Number 9. GREAT beer, kinda cheap too.
4. Guinness. When you serve so much of it, you gotta wonder what it's like. And it is GOOD.
Other's I'll drink, but aren't the best: Miller Lite, Keystone Light (aka. WATER).
Beer I refuse to drink: BUD. I drink it, and somehow, everytime, I get sick. I just can't stand it.

Alcohol preference: Bacardi(pretty much any one)
Alcohol I most want to try: Absinthe. The Green Fairy.

I'll drink almost anything...mixed almost any way...or at least I used to...
I have discovered that my drink of choice is the marguerita...any flavor.
For beer I LOVE the Lindemann's flavors especially the Peche (Peach). I'll also drink Yuengling, Yuengling Black and Tan, Killian's, Bass, Magic Hat, Corona...um...well lots...
The only thing I'll refuse to drink is Coor's light- which, to me, tastes like what I imagine pee mixed with water does..it also leaves a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.

I could continue but I'd have to start another thread...I'll just say I've calmed down a lot since college ended.

I like both dark and light beer. For dark beer I'm a huge Guinness fan (even went to Ireland for 4 days about 3 years ago specifically to take the tour of the Guinness brewery, have a couple of pints in their 360deg bar and have my picture taken in front of St. James Gate! :D ). I also like Boddington's and Newcastle. My favorite drink is Black and Brown which is Guinness on top of Newcastle. LOVE that combo.

For light beers I like Corona, Modelo Especial, Tecate and Pacifico. Can anyone tell that I love light, Mexican beer? I like Hefs as well and the Hef at BJ's, the restaurant/pizza joint that are seemingly ubiquitous in So Cal, are pretty good. I also drink all my light beers with either lemon or lime. The citrus flavor just adds nice tangy taste to a light beer.

As for liquor...I'm a big Cadillac Margarita fan (regular margarita with a floater of Grand Marnier or GranGala or other citrus/orange flavored liquer). Amaretto, Whiskey or Midori Sours are also really good "chick" drinks that I enjoy when I'm at a club or bar with my girlfriends.

I don't drink beer (well I drink about one a year, if pushed).

All my life I've felt like a "weirdo" for not liking beer (and there are so MANY other actually valid reasons for me to feel like a weirdo!) so I respond angrylly to this post :P (nothing personal.)

Plus I am a very VERY finicky drinker, since I have very VERY odd drinkind tastes, and they're very variable, they depend on how I'm feeling

Basically the only thing I know I'd love to drink, anytime, is Mead. And Mead is almost impossible to find here to drink at home, much less at a disco/bar

Edit:
To sumarize my tastes in drink. I like either horribly SWEET stuff, or awfully STRONG ones.
Sometimes i will be happy with a very sweet white wine, or even (though I like runny sweet drinks rather than thick ones, but sometimes it's all I can find) eggnogg or Baileys (not my faves but either of these in the rocks will satisfy me).

For the hard. Normal stuff like vodka on the rocks and gin on the rocks (I say it tastes like grass) it's ok, but I am happier with home-made 600 Proof moonshine. Basically, if it doesn't burns my throat and peels away layers of skin from my esophagus while going down, it's too soft.

For those of you who don't like beer... you just haven't tried the right ones!
I like dark beers, mostly. My list (not in any order) :
-Amber Bock
-Killian's Red
-Sam Adams (their lite beer is really good)
-Ice House
-Guinness
-Big Buck Brewery (microbrew from hometown)

I am on my old ski resort's "Hall of Foam" in Michigan. You have to drink over 300 different kinds of beer. Therefore, I've had beer from all over the world, and most of it was really good.

Does anyone remember Pabst Blue Ribbon? Grolsch? Falls Staff City Beer? I grew up on PBR. Can't find it anymore. I wish I could.

No, I am not an alcoholic. I rarely drink anything alcoholic anymore. But when I do, it had better be a good beer.

I'm trying to stop drinking any of that stuff at all. It's hard to do when all your friends keep going out to the bars and all, but when you're lifting weights and trying to improve on your body, it's bad for lifting. I've heard "drink light beer" but I'd just rather cut it all out and never look back. I'll get in less trouble that way when I'm out at the bars too.

But if I do drink, it's usually

Bud Light at the bars

and i'll second the "mmmm tequila", but usually when I'm at home.

I'm not a beer drinker. I've been told it's an "aquired taste", but my feeling is if I didn't like it the first time, why on earth would I want to aquire a taste for it.?.

I will drink just about anything with Midori in it, and there are others I will drink, too. Rum is always good, vodka isn't bad, and even the hubby's Bushmill's on occasion.

My drink of the moment is a "Piece of Ass." It's pretty much a Midori Sour, but add in Southern Comfort. Very yummy.

One thing I've noticed about drinking beer is, it may not taste too great at first, but the more you drink, the less and less you taste it. Not that I'm suggesting getting drunk before drinking some beers, as that'd be stupid. But each beer, it just gets better.

Hello, my name is Puck, and I am a beer snob. Sad but true. ;)

I am pretty much a faithful microbrew gal (even though the "micro" brews aren't really so "micro" these days). My favorites are anything from the Deschutes brewery in Oregon (Black Butte Porter is a favorite), and Big Rock Honey Brown Lager, from the Big Rock Brewery in Calgary, Alberta - not available here, though, so I have to go to Vancouver to treat myself.

Luckily, here in Seattle there are always options in the local pubs and restaurants, but when I have to pick from the big names, I stick to Guinness (or the variations of Half-and-Half/Black and Tan) or drink something other than beer (gasp!!).

YES!!! I love Big Rock Beer. I really like their Honey Brown and "Warthog" Ales, but my personal favorite is the Grasshopper Wheat Ale. Tastes great with a slice of lemon. Their is also a brewpub chain in town called Brewster's that makes some damn fine suds-they have bottles for sale at teh resturants, but I've never bought the bottles to go-I've always had the stuff in a glass at the bar.

I also really like Mountain Crest-it tastes not bad for cheap beer, although you have to pour the cans into a glass-otherwise it tastes like you're drinking a roll of dimes.

Blue Moon! I forgot about that. Good off tap, but since I'm too young to be served at bars, and I have no way to normally get it, we don't even serve it at work, I can't normally drink it.

Sometimes I'll have a Heineken, but my favorite thing is to have a couple of Coronas with lime (HAVE to have the lime!) and a big ass bowl of chips and salsa. Not many things make me happier. Yea, I'm easy to please. :)

....oh, and as sissy as they are, Apple Martinis are delish too!

If I'm just drinking beer I like Miller Lite or Coors Lite. But I really like all beers. Then only one I haven't liked is Miller High Life.

There is this beer called Blue Moon that is real real good. And Sam Adam's Oktoberfest is pretty tasty.

I can get Yueling whenever I want so that's good too.

I'm not a big beer drinker, it just gets too bitter for me after about half a bottle. I will however, drink Flat Tire ale and Pyramid's Apricot Ale.

I prefer wines and foofy girly drinks. My absolute favorite wines are Columbia Crest chardonnay (mm...oaky!) and nice, smooth, velvety merlots.

I adore appletinis (yes, I'm a pansy) and other fruity drinks like that. I'll usually try funky mixed drinks when I go out. The last one I had was a banana split one.
I'm also partial to Mcmenamin's hard cider. Better out of the tap than anything you can get in a bottle.
