I know that I'm not giving you much to go on, but I'm hoping that the movie buffs at CS can come through in the clutch.

Me and a co-worker where talking at worker, and somehow we got onto the topic of religion. Anyways, he then said the words: "Religion's weak link is that to understand it, you have to have faith. But they've turned that into it's stongest feature."

We both knew that it (or something like it) was a line in a movie, but neither one of us can figure out what movie it was! Sad, concidering what a bunch of movie fans we are. He seems to think that it was said in a movie that was light-hearted in nature, and I seem to think that it was said by a strong, loud, Pacino-like character. Those are just what we think, not hard and fast rules. I'm hoping to have it figured out before he does, but as long as I know it, I'll be happy. Can anyone help?

Well... that does sound familiar. I'll ask around at work tonight and see if the good old BBV crowd can unravel the mystery. :D

Thanks guys! Any help is appreciated!

I spent most of the afternoon bumming around imdb.com and google, but nothing. Man, this bugs me.

It's not what I thought it was, Loki vs. the Nun in Dogma. But sounds like it could have been.

I would also have said Dogma, or maybe The Prophecy or Constantine.
Im just mentioning these in case they jog any more memories

Perhaps it was Devil's Advocate with Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves?
I haven't seen it in a long time but it seems right- ish.

Have you possibly seen What the #$*! do we know? I can't remember that quote for certain, but it sounds very much what some of the scientists would have said.

I had thought of both of those movies, but I can't find anything that fits in either one, sadly.

I haven't seen that one, sorry.
