My sister works at Jamba Juice at the mall. The other day, I drove her to work, in the hopes that she'd provide me with a free smoothie. We were getting out of the car on the FIRST LEVEL of the parking structure when my sister exclaimed, "Holy Marijuana! I smell Weeeeeeeeeeeed!"

I started laughing, but as soon as I shut the driver side door, I could smell it too. We started walking toward the mall, and as soon as we passed the dark, tinted window van parked next to us, the smell pretty much disappeared. We looked back and could faintly see the driver of the van looking around pretty frantically, and then they backed up and fled very quickly.

It made me laugh. How could they possibly not think that people might notice!? They weren't even in a corner of the structure, they were parked near the front of the first level, prime parking!

WTF, Chuck?

LOL..I bet their windows were wide open too. :p

Reminds me of the time, I was waiting in line the morning of one of the re-release of episode 5 (i think) of Star Wars and wafting over to my little 8th grade nose comes the smell of weed. Not only did it hit my nose though, it also hit the nose of my 8th grade teacher (who told us all to cut school that day for extra credit) and he went off in search of said smell. Needless to say, a small confrontation later, he came back up to the front of the line and the people at the back of the line were PISSED. lol. Makes me laugh to this day.

How can you not expect to get caught if youre doing it in public?!

That is an awesome teacher!

I am ignoring the fact that you were in 8th grade when that movie came out.

I knew a group of dumbasses in college who decided it'd be a GREAT idea to hotbox a Ford Explorer-type SUV while driving up a bike trail through the woods. One of them happened to be a roommate of mine (who was later kicked out of the dorms). They were stone-cold sober when they made this decision, too.

So they all piled into the SUV and started passing blunts around, only to eventually have the path become too narrow. Somehow they were able to reverse down the path back to the road entrance......where the cops were waiting for them (dunno if they saw them go in or if someone called it in).

As told by my roommate (after spending a few hours in jail), when they opened the doors, smoke just billowed out.

Cop: WOW....that's a LOT of pot smoke......

They all got arrested. Bunch of idiots...

Because it would seem that if you smoke enough weed, you seem to forget that it's illegal and cops could be anywhere.

Which is one reason I don't smoke it myself. I don't want to ingest anything that will make me that indiscrete.

Ahh but see if you live in the great state of massachusetts, and so long as you're not driving they can't arrest you. They can only give you a ticket, and even then I haven't heard many of them being written, because they can't ID you so whose to say you are who you say you are. The only one I've heard of so far was given to some moron walking down the street smoking a blunt. But since question 1 (decriminalization of less than an ounce) happened I see so many more people smoking openly.

But even before Question 1 the cops rarely busted you if you had only a little on you, and if they did arrest you you'd be slapped on the wrist and sent on your way. But then this is this state. I know some states the laws are far more strict. Like they take your car and stuff. Now in a state like that they're stupid.

I worked with a guy...briefly...who would go out on his breaks and smoke in his car. He reeked when he came back in.
Notice I said "briefly"...

Not to perpetuate any stereotypes, but he was a chubby white kid with a head full of dreadlocks...which makes it all the more amusing somehow...

A local cafe has t-shirts that read, "Yes, I am a local. No, I cannot get you pot."

Yes, we locals get that question. A LOT.

If I ever get to visit Key West, my first stop (after the hotel, and after a visit to Jester's Bar, of course) will be to get one of those. Sure, I don't live there, but that is an AWESOME shirt.

Dave, I'll make you a trade.

If you happen to live in one of those blessed places that has caffeine free Dr. Pepper, you send me a case of that, and I will send you one of those t-shirts. :D

You know what? You just might have yourself a deal, because I think they do sell that around here. Though I might be thinking of caffeine free diet Dr Pepper. I'll have to check next time I go shopping. I presume you don't want diet?
