Tomorrow morning my fiance and I leave for our week in the Bahamas, where we'll be getting married on the 22nd. So for anyone who notices a disturbing lack of hockey-related posting and free-association chat in the chatroom, please note: I am away. :D

I wish I could go back to the Bahamas. Went on vacation there a couple times. I LOVED it. Some of the best times happened there. Like meeting Amanda Bynes, not being carded for any alcohol even though I was 15, hooking up with chicks who thought I was really 18 lol...*sigh*...good times.

We're back!!

Unpacking and arranging for a backhoe to shift several tons of laundry and souvenirs at the moment, but never fear - pictures to come in short order.

Readers' Digest Version: It was wonderful - everything I could have hoped for. Generally I return from vacations with a collection of bug bites and a bagful of tacky trinkets, but this time I came home with a nifty suntan and an incredible husband. Not too shabby. ;)

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks to all the well-wishers...it's very humbling to know that you spent a few minutes of your busy week to give us a thought. :) Hope that everyone had a great week and/or Thanksgiving and, as I said, more to come as soon as we're re-situated.

Puck , congratulations ! The photos are gorgeous - you and DH look lovely and so happy, and the place is beautiful. Those angels are rather, um, unsettling, I agree. I really envy you that beach when I look out of my window and see cold wet weather outside.
