All three of my children got their report cards today.
My two oldest are on the honor roll, my little guy is only in second grade, so they don't get letter grades yet, but he got high marks too.
All three report cards remark about how well behaved they are and how good they are at doing their school work and home work.
I'm so proud of all three of them! :)

Ah, nothing satisfies a mother like a child getting good grades. Unfortunately for my mom, I was a high honor roll student in high school but the classes in college are a LOT harder than high school ever was. Should get about a B+ in chem, B+/A- in writing, A in chem lab, A in stats, and hopefully a C/C+ in calc. She wants me to get at least a B+ in calc but let's not kid ourselves. That just sure as hell is NOT happening. She's such a perfectionist with grades, anything under a B she is unhappy with. If she knew just how hard this teacher is, scraping off a high 70 would be acceptable. At least I didn't fail out of calc like half the class.
Congrats on having your kids make honor roll. Having good grades really does make things a lot easier. Whether it's finding colleges to go to or proving to your dad that yes, you really are smart enough to go college, every little bit helps.

My oldest daughter is struggling really bad in Algebra. She was so excited about that class in the beginning. Now she has a 37 average. She is even taking after school tutoring in the subject. Neither me nor my husband have any clue about Algebra, so we cannot help her. She was lost in the beginning and hasn't the foggiest now.
My youngest daughter used to be on the honor roll/principals list in 1-5th grade. She wasn't in 6th but she was close. She is now in 7th and doens't seen interested at all. She is failing 1 class and is close to failing with 2 other, and the other ones are mediocer.
My oldest son is doing the best. Compared to last year he has made a complete turn around. He almost failed last year, also last year he was diagnosed with ADHD and put on medication. Now he is only 1-2 points from the honor roll. He is able to sit and listen this year. His teachers say he is an excellent student and a real sweety. He has those big brown eyes that have had all the girls and woman snowed since he was born.
Middle son is only in pre school but he is doing really well. He seems to be following in his big brothers footsteps though. I have a feeling he is going to be diagnosed as ADHD also. I am waiting till he gets in 1st or 2nd before I have him checked. I was to see evidence of this with my own eyes before I start shoving medicine down his throat. He may just settle down once he gets going in school.
The baby is only 2 and isn't even thinging of school yet. No one would even be able to concentrate on things if her were there, he is just to cute.
