So..my boyfriend got the Nintendo Wii the first day it came out. And let me tell you, I've been having fun playing that stupid thing. Of course, he only has Wii Sports on there now, and that came with it. He did buy Rayman only after K-Per on Attack of the Show on G4 said it was good. And I think he got Zelda too...but he was going to put that in his auction when he sold his other Wii. (That does sound bad, doesn't it? K-Per was right). And he also got another Wii-mote (not another nunchuck)
Anyhow, my sister and her boyfriend want the Wii. They waited in line, and didn't get one. They weren't special enough to get the tickets. But the store did allow them to get all the games they wanted. So they got Excite Truck, Zelda, Trauma Center, and Super Monkey Ball. They also got a classic controller, and a Wii-mote and a nunchuck. So they're coming up here for Thanksgiving. We're going to set up the boyfriend's Wii in our house, so that my sister and her boyfriend can play it. They're bringing their games as well.
I just still can't believe I love that thing. I want to see the PS3 as well...I just want to play ONE game on it...Lair.
I think the boyfriend is slowly but surely turning me into a gamer: he bought me a Nintendo DS, he got me to like to watch him play Shadow of the Colossus and God of War on the PS2...I love to play Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari on his PS2...I love Lumines on his PSP...and now I love the Nintendo Wii. Go figure.
