Okay. So...I managed to make it two weeks without an episode of vertigo. But then I had one yesterday. Well, actually, two. And it felt like a third was going to happen. They all have that precursor of the buzzing or whatever in my head.

And every time, it seems like I'm either super hot, or my heart rate is high. (I ran up stairs before the first and second ones).

So another doctor visit for me. The boyfriend told me that I should mention to my doctor that I should get an MRI or something done while it's free (I'm still on my parent's insurance until the first of the year...then I get my own).

It might be worth mentioning.

I just wanted you all to be updated, I suppose.

Yikes. Vertigo is no fun (unless it's the Hitchcock movie or the U2 song!) ;)

But seriously, the MRI is a good idea. It can find little anomalies that traditional methods cannot. See what your doctor says. And good luck!

Not to alarm you, but vertigo can be a sign of stroke.
I've went to the doctor last year because I kept losing vision in my left eye. it was weird. I'd be standing, doing nothing out of the ordinary and whammo! Blind in the left eye. It happened quite a few times, and I'd also feel the back of my head kinda... can't really describe it, but I guess it felt like my scalp shriveled? Shrank into itself? Anyway, it felt weird. Then it progressed to vertigo.

So I got myself checked out. Had the MRI done. Thankfully, no stroke(s). Dr. said it could be stress, over-worked, etc. Told me to relax and take it easy.

But make sure you talk about that possibility with your doctor. Strokes aren't fun. Both my grandfathers died from strokes.
