Do any of you have something in your life that you do now that you never thought you would be hooked on but you are? For me its horse racing I cant get enough of it. I have 2 horse racing channels on DISH network HRTV and TVG I turn em on as soon as I get home from work I also like to go to my local Track River Downs whenever I can . Theres nothing like hitting a box exacta with 2 horses at about 6-1 odds I bet dime superfectas at RD ( ya have to pick 1-2-3-4) but unfortunately Ive yet to hit one

AgioAhgaihgioangipoanp|! Not horse racing! Anything but that! I work at a horse racing track. Monmouth Park Racetrack to be exact. But I don't work for the track itself, I work for some other company that is at the track. In fact I'm going to my job right now. I hate this job. Since I have a shirt of the same type and nearly the same color, I could smuggle a friend in...

Yeah, for me it's World of Warcraft. I swore I would never get that game as I knew what it did to people. But because I was sooo bored one day, I picked it up. What a mistake that was......now I'm hooked!!!!! :runaway:

Jazz - been in the Metal army since diapers. now I find myself w/ a pretty good jazz collection. Weird
Sushi - Holy carp! I like raw fish. Actually, I'll change sushi to ALL food. I used to turn my nose at everything that wasn't as bland as boiled potatoes. Now, whatever. Balut, squid, bugs.... been there done that.
and lastly... MY SISTER. I have no idea why we finally get along. Never would've believed it if you told 16 year old me that we would be friends.

Oh yea, all the time. Bravo is almost always a sure choice. He does extremely well at Monmouth. It's too bad Monmouth is losing it's popularity. It used to be PACKED every single day. Now it's hard to do that on the weekend. The actual owners of the track don't really pay for repairs. Fresh paint, sure, but not repairs. So many leaks and crap. I wish I could have an off day and make some cash there. Apparently, from what I'm told, most people don't do that well at Monmouth. Maybe they just suck at picking horses.

I will second that! A year ago I would have turned my nose up at the stuff, but now I can't get enough of it! Just give me some Calif. or Philidelphia rolls and I'm happy. The raw salmon and tuna are great too.
I've also started to like some classical music every now and then. Before, I thought it was so boring, but now I find it quite relaxing at times.....geez I hope I'm not getting old....

Same as Hotelboy, I would not eat anything that was not bland. Now, I will pretty much eat anything (actually went to lebanese the other night and shut my eyes, and got what my finger landed on... Normally I would read and analyse the menu for half hour at least). Have also tried escargot and squid in the past year or so... 2 years ago, that would be unheard of for me.
NFL - I never thought I would get into this sport, and I love it!
DVD's - I never used to use the DVD player here at home, and was content with my VHS videos... Now my DVD collection is bigger than my sisters, and she was the one who kept harping on at me to use the DVD player and buy DVD's!
