well didn't know where this should go but I thought it would fit best here.

Had an interesting experience today, walking into the shops at Chalora and all of a sudden...all the lights in the whole shoping centre went out...interesting??? I wasn't sure if I was able to go into woolies or not but no one was stopping me, and they had managd to get some lights on so it seemed ok...

But there were stores all over the place that had no lights and were pitch black! and the poor shop assistants where just standing there puzzled as to what they were meant to do??? I think I would be too!

But anyways...surprizingly enough I didn't see anybody acting sucky...especially in the lines...there was no power so the belts where not moving...so you had to push your stuff up to the check out person....MEH...we all had a laugh about it...

It's an experience? I think the worst part was driving OUT of there...all the lights were out and it was a free for all! People wouldn't let you turn right AT ALL and you had to litterally forse yourself through! Saw so many close misses....thanx to a bus I got through with no problems...but there were people still going straight ahead even though there was a long line of people actully turning right...ahhh people are more stupid when there is nothing to controll their actions! Specially when there are no lights on the roads!

After a heavy freak October snowstorm, parts west were without power. I had to drive to work (work has a huge generator) and had to drive through one large intersection that had no power. I'm thinking "Where are the @$#$@% Sheriff?!? Why isn't SOMEONE directing traffic!?!" I was amazed that neither I nor anyone else was in an accident!!! Talk about a beast of a 4-way stop!

Ugh. People pull that crap here too. They tend to freak out at the slightest sign of problems. Last year, several parts of town had power outages. When that happens, the lights start flashing red. I was always told to treat the flashing red lights as stop signs. However, some idiots insisted on blasting through them. After sitting at a light for at least 20 minutes, I took my turn, and took the long way home.

We had our poweroutage just this last Friday.

The traffic lights that allows you to exit and enter the mall parking lot were on the fritz, that backed up traffic on highway 52, all the way to second street. I know you guys aren't familiar with Rochester, but that's about 3-4 miles of traffic backup. Only on the busiest shopping day of the year. Huzzah!!!

The official word was a squirrel knocked out the power. Damn those squirrels, constantly messing with things. I've heard that squirrel song and dance more than a couple of times.

I don't think there was any mayhem, which saddens me. But it's still a worthwhile story.
