This is kind of surreal.
I took my daughter to McDonalds for playtime and lunch. While there, I got hit on by a 70-year old man.
SEVENTY YEAR OLD MAN.
I'm in my early 30's, wear a very noticeable wedding ring and was there for a playdate.
Wearing track pants, sweatshirt and hair back in a pony tail.
I don't get it. Not at all. And I forgot the Maalox at home. Totally wierd.

LOL, i bet that was an experience!
However, i am not in the least surprised. Why? Because when I was at uni, back in the early 1990s, there was an elderly grad student at my college, who celebrated his 70th birthday in my third year there. Jim had been at Oxford for 11 years at that point, working on his doctorate on Romano-Birtish weapons. We used to joke that he'd taken 11 years to cover swords, and would finish spears in about 8 months. He was a terrific old bloke, had come to us after retiring from (I think) the Australian Air Force and the Australian civil service, as he'd simply felt he'd like to return to academia upon retiring. He loved rugby and cricket, and he also loved pretty girls. He had a real soft spot for my best friend, and he liked to take the two of us (as he said it would be improper for him to take Sharon out on her own) out to restaurants, to the sporting club and to sumptuous picnic lunches in the Parks.
I don't think a 70 year old man would be put off by a wedding ring. When you get to that age, the only thing that matters any more is gender. Not size, not looks, not hairstyle, not even dress.

When I was 14 and my sister was 17, we were at the Pharmacy one time and some really really old guy kept hitting on my sister and even ended up trying to ask my sister if she'd go to a wedding with him. What a creep!
What is it with these pathetic people thinking everyone will bend to their will?
