Okay, I finally saw it and I loved the movie! :D
But there was a couple of things that, wow... I really didn't need to see ever! Yet, somehow still great! Gotta love Kevin Smith.
This is one I'll be trying to steer parents away from... they won't listen... and then they'll yell... *sigh*

Excellent movie, indeed. One of those rare sequels that I think is actually better than the original.

Clerks and Clerks II are doing going on my Christmas list. I went to see Clerks II with my stepdad. We both loved it. Especially being from NJ, it makes me proud to have good movies based in NJ.

seems as if other states have the more interesting movies, while NC ends up w/stuff like "Weekend at Bernie's" :ashamed:
However, I'd love to see Clerks II, which will probably be when it comes on cable, then I'll get the DVD.

If it makes you feel any better, virtually every movie in Louisiana makes us all seem like inbred hicks, Cajuns with incomprehensible accents, drunks or Voodoo Priests.

I just checked Amazon, and found out it comes out this coming Tuesday, the 28th. I checked awhile back, and it wasn't supposed to be coming out until sometime in December.
I'll still be off then. I am so getting this. :D

Yep, the production companies can change the Street Date at will.
We received and processed over 200 copies of You, Me and Dupree. Then, they pushed the date back- so we stored them. Then, like two days before the day it was originally supposed to come out they changed their minds and decided to let it release on it's original Street Date. *headdesk*
Oh, and M.I. III had a "special" Monday release date (Tuesday is usually new release day). Then on Sunday they suddenly decided to release it on Sunday...
But not until 6pm- before 6pm would be a violation of Street Date and result in the normal fines and firings. *headdeskx2*
I'm not sure about movies, but Step By Step, That 70s Show, and LaVerne and Shirley are centered in WI......we look like a bunch of beer nazis who work in breweries, work at retail stores, smoke a lot of pot, and all of our dads are big truck driving, tool bearing, handy men, hahahahahaha. Somewhat close to the truth I guess, it made for some pretty good TV.

Awww, c'mon Blake! I learned how to do a great Cajun accent and speech pattern. I knew it was good when I was using it for a character in a game I was playing, and the guy next to me turned to the GM and asked, "What the HELL did he just say!?"
PS: Don't forget loose women. According to movies and TV, all the women down there wear less than a square foot of material.

I thought that was just the good ol' Southern hospitality...

Where I used to live we only get things like the horribly innacurate "The New World" and Charlie Sheen jumping off the bridge in "Navy Seals." BTW, I wouldn't jump into that water for anything and as an interesting little tidbit about that scene, they had to stop traffic on the bridge for a few hours and have the jeep drive on the wrong side of the road because there is no way to jump from the roadway to the water on the side they should have been driving on.
Up here we get "Rudy" and "Hoosiers".

Out of Time with Denzel Washington was filmed only a few miles from here. Although they made it look like it was in the Keys. The Punisher was filmed relatively close as well.
And in case anyone is wondering (thanks to tv and movies) Florida is not really full of megababes and megahunks who only own swim wear. No, people here are just as ugly as everywhere else but you do get to see them in a lot less clothing most of the year...

I cracked open my copy last night, and was laughing my ass off just like in the theaters. I don't think any scenes really got "deleted", just shortened a bit. Have to take another look at those, and the blooper reel again, because I was getting tired, and probably not paying as much attention as I could have been.
Could have done without the million previews at the beginning, and the stupid anti-tobacco commercial. Not that I have any love for the tobacco industry, I just can't stand it when they put commercials on my DVDs. At least it's easy to skip past them, unlike some of the other titles I've purchased.

I finally saw Clerks II. The best parts were when Randall was opening the Quick Stop at the beginning, closed it, and then reopened it to see if what he saw was really happening (I'm trying to not ruin anything for those who haven't seen it yet), and when Jay and Silent Bob have pigtails.
Other then that, it just wasn't funny.

Wasn't funny?
I thought it was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. I think I broke a lung because I was laughing so hard.
"Oooh, cake!"
