I often get a good laugh at the way people here use the English language. Yes, I know it's not their native language; it's still funny to see some of the manglings.
Once, I was looking at a menu outside a restaurant (restaurants here often post the menu outside, so you can take a look before deciding if you want to eat there or not), and saw that they served "candied duck thing".
Another restaurant offered "chicken chest".
A gourmet place (i.e., one that should know better) has food to go or for dining in. One dish, on proud display, was "backed nightshade".
Today, I received an email for an appointment. The man told me which floor his office is on, and how I can take the "levebator".
