As usual, aiming at this Sunday morning for our quietest time (not a security patch).

Heads are up.

I have to say that I prefer an upgrade that's a non-event.

Was that why my account logged out? Normally I just leave it logged in all the time but first thing today it wasn't.

No idea, but it did it to me too. Suspect it's hit everyone. I think it's likely to have affected the cookie management on the site software at some point.

All good....wouldn't have even asked but I did some work on my machine last night and just wanted confirmation I didn't mess something up locally. :)

Reminds me the "documentation" some gob-mint bureaucracy expected us to provide so they could approve doing us the incredible *favor* of downloading our freeware.

I had to answer a questionnaire. Here is a sample of some of their questions and my actual answers:

Q: Does [freeware] work on Windows XP?

Me: Yes.

Q: How was this determined?

Me: I tried it and it worked.

Q: Who determined this?

Me: I did.

The person who received that email just wanted the freeware without hassle. The questionnaire wasn't *her* idea. She was amused when she handed that up to the pencil pushers.
