I got a call just a little before midnight from my aunt. Apparently the retirement home he's in sent him to the hospital sometime this afternoon. Something about heart failure and not getting the response they needed treating him in house.
Thursday was the anniversary of my grandma's death.
He's been getting worse for a while now. Last weekend we got him moved out of his apartment and into the assisted living section of the place.
She was going to call the hospital to find out what was going on. She didn't have her phone on her today, so she didn't get the message until just before she called me.
