I've been working as an English teacher (well, "tutor," but you know how they like to talk us up to keep us content) since March. It was a very nice job, but at times it stressed me more than I felt I was being paid for.
So paychecks come 1 month late (March paychecks come on April 25th, and so on), and I'm leaving Japan on January 9th, so I can't work in December.
Today's my LAST DAY! it's 10:22am right now, and I'm starting work at 4pm. I've been working my butt off for the past month so that my next paycheck--on December 25th, a month which I will not be working at all during--will be nice and chunky.
December's going to be a good (although COLD) month for me!
