No, I'm not kidding.

I went to McD's last week for a late lunch. I never eat a full meal, so I usually get a Mighty Kid's Meal or Happy Meal, depending on how hungry I am. This is the toy that came with it, from the movie Flushed Away. (Sorry it's blurry; it was taken with my webcam. Look closely under his lip and you can see a 'stache.)

Notice any resemblance to a certain 1940's German dictator?

The mustach on that toy, named Le Frog, is actually meant to portray the stereotypical Frenchman's 'stache.

That's all well and good, but I was referring to the "total package:" the suit, the 'stache, the angry face, and the fact that his arm goes up in a Nazi fashion.

Sorry it wasn't that funny to you.

I don't really notice a resemblance.

Turn his raised hand over, and you have the salute for that certain 40s dictator.

I have to say I can't see it myself - Hitler's moustache was more like a toothbrush, while this is Maurice Chevalier, and i don't recall ever seeing Hitler in a zip-up suit. Its not a very attractive toy though - that's probably the sole saving grace of it, as my uber-Princess four year old wouldn't want a grumpy frog toy !

Apparently it loses something in the translation, because when I first got it I just looked at it, raised its hand, and laughed like a loon.

Plus, all the friends I've showed it to just looked at it and said "Oh my God!"
