Ok So one of the i web comics read everyday IS YU+ME (http://rosalarian.com/yume/).
Resently in the writer/artests live journal that a magazine, crossed genre (http://crossedgenres.com/), which i hadn't heard of was looking for LGBTQ themed scifi/fantasy art and short stories.
I talked to the writer and i decided to submit one of my short stories.
So now im kind of freaking out,
last time i submit something it was for a silly contest that i lost but im nerves.

I would love some positive energy.

Good luck! And just remember, even if you get rejected, it's nothing personal. And it doesn't mean your story is no good. 98% of being published is reaching the right person on a good day. ;)

Good luck, slicey.

I've looked it over, and I may get up the nerve to submit something. I've got one or two ideas on the back burner that would fit, although I would probably have to submit a novel as I consider anything under 1000 pages a "short" story.

As for rejection, it's nothing to worry about. I don't know if you've read On Writing by Stephen King, but when he was a teen he nailed his first rejection letter to his bedroom wall. He started sticking every rejection letter he got on there, until he needed a railroad spike to hold them all and the whole mess of them finally fell off the wall completely.

well my short story is 3500 words just about, and is kind of a ghost other worldly story. The only real thing i worry about is the fact in my story a very important focal point is a cross but it isnt in a religous way its in a symbol way.
here read for your self-

Oh good. I hate when they send form letters. Particularly if they don't say why a story wasn't picked.
