Comcast actually did something cool

They raised my internet speed! Free of charge. They also gave me basic cable (21 channels, all local). And they also knocked $4 off my monthly bill.

I've been thinking of adding basic for months now because it would lower my bill by $10/month. However, they would charge a $35 fee to add it. Yup, $35 just to install a different trap.

All of this, free of charge, because they want to be the fastest internet provider in the neighborhood.

Comcast was almost always great. Other than taking a couple months to install our internet and everything, it was good. Not to mention they also gave us a lil over a year of free internet(thank you whoever forgot to actually bill us). It was really fast, almost always working except during big natural disasters, quick service if needed (other than the event noted).

Now we have DSL. It randomly disconnects. They told us the internet would be waiting for us when we hooked it up by a certain time. I had to call and talk to a tech about it and they had to call someone else and have them work on it. We finally got it a few days later. It's not as fast as comcast was. And that disconnecting thing pisses me off so much. How am I supposed to play games over the internet if my internet disconnects for a few seconds?
