I'm chatting with a friend on Skype, and he suggested that I might like to buy a teapot that's going on sale tomorrow. He included a link to it. I was busy reading something, so I didn't pay much attention.
Then he sent another link. I glanced at it and saw the word "bottle" in the link. I inquired about it.
He replied, "It's a bed warmer...."
I asked, "A hot-water bottle?"
Here is his response:
"Look at it, and you'll find out what the right word is, it's more like a rubber thermos flask"
I think that's pretty damned cute. (He's not a native English speaker.)
