Finally transferred my record collection..

Right to my laptop. My dad still saved his records and turntable and when I started getting into classic rock he whipped out his records. We connected the turntable to the computer recorded what we wanted, edited the file into individual songs and put them on cd. It took forever to do all this 2 months and counting as I still buy records. But it is worth it. I'm currently listening to Hello Goodbye as I type this complete with vinyl quality.

Cool. I've been trying to do the same thing with my cassettes. Quite a few of them aren't available on CD. So far though, running a cable from the CD player to the computer has worked, but with a bit of static. Swapping over the tunes on 8-tracks is going to be fun though--the player no longer works!
