I know once on the board we had a thread where we listed all the lame jokes that customers used a lot. I'm now curious about what overused jokes outside of work that you've grown tired of.

At my house my bf and I keep our computers in the living room so that we both have internet access. Everytime someone new comes to the house without fail finds this hysterical, ooh you have two computers ha-ha, his and hers computers snicker, when you two are in the mood do you cyber guffaw. As you can tell my bf and I are more than tired of those "witty" comments. It's like going into someone's house and finding it funny because there are two cars or two televisions.

So anyone else have any stories?

Me- "oh, this one time-"
BF-"at band camp?"

ugh....i hate that joke. everytime i am starting to talk about something that happened in the past, and i saw this one time, he has to say at band camp. i get so sick of it. so im trying to say it back to him whenever i get the chance. maybe he will get sick of it, and stop doing it to me.

When ever anyone, co-worker (that I know well) or friend, says something that can be construed as somewhat sexual, even if remotely, I usually say "That's what SHE said!"

Example: The other day, I was helping a coworker who was trying to put a heavily dented gallon can of tint into the shaker. It was so badly dented that it would fit.
CW: "It's not gonna work. It won't fit into the hole."
Me: "That's what she said!"

Yeah, it's lame. But I giggle at it.

Heh, I love using the "That's what she said" line. But yea, it does get old really fast when incorrectly used.
