My mom had a Northern Bank twenty-pound note of the type that was recalled and redesigned/destroyed following the 2004 Northern Bank heist in Belfast, Ireland (I believe the note was the 1999 series).
She had it in with the rest of her sterling currency, and now can't find the note anywhere. She thinks she may have inadvertently spent it during a recent trip. I'd like to find another one and replace it for her.
If possible, I'd like to pay not that much over converted face value. I'm a tad strapped for cash myself, but know she's really bummed about losing that note.
