Positive reinforcement from a suit! (Alert the media!)

Tonight our GM manager told us that one of the corporate suits thought we third-shifters were just so awesome and doing such a great job, that he has decided to buy us pizza one night.

That's so out of character for a corporate head honcho. Usually they just bustle around the store whenever they visit and point out what we are doing wrong.

I just hope I will be working when he makes good on his promise.

Be sure to shout "PEPPERONI!" at some random point in the pizza-eating, Irv, just for the sake of your fellw CSers. ;) And congratulations on the recognition, by the way. It always sounds like your crew carries a disproportionate share of the burden, so a little atta-boy can go a long way.

Wish I would've thought of that.

Anyhoo, we got pizza from a local joint in town, which makes its pizzas using dough, grease, tomato sauce, sausages, grease, mozzarella cheese, grease and pepperoni.

Then deep fries it in grease or something.

Seriously, their pizzas are about the greasiest I have ever had. The grease soaked through the pizza box onto the table. But it is also the best pizza in town. As Homer Simpson would put it, it was groin-grabbingly good.
