The (piss-poor excuse of an) owner now has the Finnish Spitz on some dog adoption site asking $500 or best offer (http://www.puppyfind.com/finnish+spitz.php). She knows damn well that us and the breeder would take him back in a heartbeat but being the :censored::censored::censored: that she is she isn't doing that (plus she must be desperate for the money).
The breeder is trying to find some way to consider this a breach of contract to get him back and my wife has also thought of having a 3rd party (a friend of my wife's who has never met this person) make an offer - try to get him for as little as possible.
This pup was the sire of the litter of Finnish Spitz puppies that we had a few years back (Ginger (the mother) was brought to the new owner's house (despite a huge argument that the owner wanted to whelp the litter) and came back to us in horrid condition).
