This is a rant thread for the last week of crazymas.....feel free to join in with me in venting the frustrations of the holiday season!:rant:
1. Online shopping is easyier/quicker my butt! It took me over 3 hours (and we have broadband) to shop for 6 people, and heres the kicker, I knew what I wanted for everyone to! It wasnt like I was faffing around the sites looking at this or that! Register, fill out details everyones format is different! Then some of the blooming sites would let me select the items as a gift, then wouldnt let me address the damn parcel to the person im giving the bloody gift to!!!!! dont even get me started on the inconsistancies of freight charges!!!!!!
2. If one more person decides that its a GREAT idea to hold a long lost reunion in the middle of a supermarket aisle I am going to scream! I really couldnt give a fig if you havent seen Judy in 6 years get out of the way, the woman behind me is trying to ram the trolley up my butt!
3. What is it about the christmas season that makes people forget about personal space! I am not by any measure a hugging person, I dont hug my own family unless its christmas or they are going away for a long time! Unless Im in a very good mood! I certainly do not want to hug a co-worker/associate! That goes for you I-dont-understand-the-concept-of-personal-space people to who like to breath on my neck in line ups back the heck off me buddy!
4. temp co-irker from hell, leave me alone! I do not want to be your best friend, we do not have everything in common, you are not helping, you are hindering us! I do not want you getting in the way, or sitting down when our regular employee is really sick and came in anyway, get off your duff and our of our chair! Im sooooo glad I dont have to deal with you after tomorrow! Stop telling the customers your life story, they dont care about you, they dont need to hear about your dog fluffy who you accidentally dyed pink but meant to dye purple but you dont like salad because of the white bits of lettuce but you pick out the bacon....SHUT UPPPPPPPPPP :pissed:
sorry.....im just exasperated, my tolerance level dried up about 2pm today when the temp asked a customer if they wanted their 10 $3 items gift wrapped seperatley when there was a line of 8 people behind her!
